We include a rating for videos and content here at Funky Avocado so you can feel more comfy when you click that play button with a bambino around.
Videos are rated by us and not the MPAA, but it is based on their system. No need to reinvent the wheel here.
Here’s how we roll with our ratings…
G – General Audience.
Nothing that should offend parents for viewing by children.
PG – Parental Guidance Suggested.
Parents are urged to give parental guidance. May contain some material parents might not like for their young children. If we hear so much as a “hell” in a video, we’re going with a PG.
PG-13 – Parents Strongly Cautioned.
Parents are urged to be cautious. Some material may be inappropriate for pre-teens. If you see this, then you really should watch it before letting any kids see it. We might even put something with artistic nudity here…
R – Restricted.
Contains adult material. Parents are urged to learn more about the video before showing to young children. There could be violence or blood, foul language, and/or sexy stuff.
NC-17 – Clearly adult.
Children should not watch a video with this rating.
Listen up good people — our ratings are a best-effort perk for y’all. We might miss something, being human and all.
Then again, maybe I do have a test but I don’t share that info. Ever consider that, buckaroos?
